💧 Aqua Aid – Clean Water for All
Access to clean and safe drinking water is a basic human right, yet many villages still suffer from water shortage and dirty water.
Access to clean and safe drinking water is a basic human right, yet many rural and low-income communities in India still suffer due to water scarcity, contamination, or lack of infrastructure. Women and children often walk miles every day just to collect unsafe water, risking both health and dignity.
To address this growing crisis, Alfaran Educational & Welfare Society (AEWS) launched the Aqua Aid initiative — a long-term commitment to provide sustainable access to clean water in water-deprived areas.
🚰 What We Do:
Under the Aqua Aid program, AEWS installs handpumps in villages, slums, and backward areas where clean water is not easily available. These handpumps provide communities with safe water close to home, improving health, hygiene, and overall quality of life.
📊 Impact So Far:
-
1000+ handpumps installed across Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and other underserved regions
-
Clean water access for thousands of families
-
Significant reduction in waterborne diseases and daily hardships
-
Empowerment of women and children through time saved and better health
“Where clean water flows, dignity grows.”
– Aqua Aid by AEWS
AEWS is committed to expanding this effort further, ensuring that no family is left behind in the struggle for safe drinking water.
